Question: How can I create my own icons?

Answer: Here is an easy way.

Just locate the shortcut icon of the program in the Programs menu (start>programs) locate and right click on the Photoshop icon > Properties > Shortcut ..In Shortcut key, Type Any letter that's easy for you to REMIND the application. for instance A for AdobePhotoshop. once you press A it will be automatically set to ALT+CTRL+A.

Next time you want to start Photoshop just press these 3 keys together (Which you can use single hand) no need to search for the Photoshop icon and click on it. Easy?

This method can be adopted on all most any shortcuticons as long as you can easily remember the corresponding keys and you are comfortable with it and also it's much easier to perform. (incase the shortcut key you assigned is already in place for some other apps. you can use CTRL+Shift+(the desired letter) or ALT+SHIFT+(Desired Letter) so that there is no conflict.

Say for Instance you assign E for Excel ie; (ALT+CTRL+E) now you can assign CTRL+SHIFT+E for internet Explorer as well. like wise you can assign any desired chacter for the appz.

Some of my favorites assignments are

N for Nero ((ALT+CTRL+N)
C for caluclator (ALT+CTRL+C) (instead of Run>calc)
W for word
F for Firefox etc...
